Island Timing and Jaguar Chip Timing IT The Jaguar chip timing system is unlike anything you've ever seen. It uses overhead or side antennas, includes powerful racing software, provides real-time results and reports, and uses a low-cost disposable timing chip. Database Management and Chip Preparation Services Island Timing must approve The Event’s entry form, to be used for the registration brochure and downloadable entry form for online use to ensure complete and accurate data is acquired by participants. Island Timing to manage the database of all participants. Database will include data about participants name, age, gender, address, phone number, email address and any other reasonable tracking of data the event feels is important for a successful event. Island Timing to coordinate with The Event to provide Island Timing with completed participant entry forms periodically before the event. Pre-Registration must close and all paper forms must be received by Island Timing a minimum of 24 hours before the start of Packet Pick-Up/Registration for the event so as to prepare bibs and chips for packet pick-up unless otherwise agreed. Island Timing to label and prepare bibs and chips for pre-registered participants before the start of Packet Pick-Up. Bibs are to be provided by The Event and delivered to Island Timing 36 hours prior to the start of Packet Pick-Up/Registration. Late delivery may result in Island Timing not being able to complete preparation of Packet Pick-Up materials and Island Timing will not be held responsible. Island Timing to provide staff to data-enter Day of Race registrations at the event to ensure accurate and complete timing of the event. Island Timing to provide one Island Timing staff member to assist in managing volunteers (to be provided by The Event, estimated number of volunteers based on total estimated participation for event to be determined closer to date of event) for Packet Pick-Up and Day of Race Registration. Island Timing staff member will manage “Assistance/Changes” of pre-registered participants. Island Timing staff member will manage volunteers to set up registration area.

Island Timing and Winning Time Chip Timing Services Island Timing to provide staff to assist in managing volunteers (to be provided by The Event) at the Start Line as needed for timing the event. Island Timing to provide staff to assist in managing volunteers (to be provided by The Event) at the Finish Line during the race. Volunteers needed to remove chips from participants crossing the finish. Island Timing to provide flagging necessary to contain finishers for chip removal. Island Timing to provide one display clock at finish line. Island Timing to provide an accurate Gun Start time using the Winning Time chip system for participants and post results throughout the event (results to be calculated using Gun Start time minus finish time in accordance with USATF rules for scoring a road race). Island Timing to provide results as accurately and quickly as reasonable based on the variable conditions of weather, accuracy of entry forms and equipment. Island Timing to send results in electronic format to agreed locations on race day Island Timing to post complete results on  www.results.islandtiming.com following  the event, usually by 5:00 PM. Island Timing to make updates to results in a timely manner as appropriate. Island Timing to provide one paper copy of results to The Event if requested. Island Timing to provide results for the awards ceremony following the event.   Chip Retrieval                                                                     Island Timing to Include instructions for using the timing chips and returning the timing chips to avoid additional charges. Island Timing staff will supervise volunteers provided by The Event to remove all chips from participants at the finish line. Island Timing will send a postcard to participants that have not returned the chip reminding them to mail the chip back to Island Timing. A secondary letter may be sent to ensure all chips are received Island Timing will take the responsibility of providing necessary materials to ensure chip retrieval.   Jaguar Chip Timing Systems uses disposable chips and does not require retrieval.
